Viva Las Vegas!

We just got back from Las Vegas a few days ago. My parents had given us a week in their timeshare as a Christmas present, and it was great! People mostly thing of Vegas as gambling and drinking, but we found tons of fun things to do with the kids. Kyle has an M & M obsession, so he was in heaven at the M&M store on the strip. Everywhere he looked he would say "M!" I will add more pics later, I'm a slacker, I know.

Happy Birthday Cameron and Hailey!

We like to tell Cameron that Hailey was his birthday present last year! She was born on the same day as him, kinda crazy! So this year was the first time we did our "combo birthday". Cameron had a party with all his friends a few days before his actual birthday, but we still had to make sure he felt June 10th was all about him and Hailey. It turned out to be a great day. Luckily for me, Cameron wanted green cupcakes, so we did green and purple, and I thought it turned out quite cute! I have to admit, it was hard and depressing seeing my baby turn 1 year old. I am still in denial. She is super tiny for her age (17 pounds, which is the 3rd percentile for her age), but I like the idea that she is small so she still seems like a baby! The past year has gone by so quickly. Cameron has grown up so much in the past year. He was so excited to be 5, I don't know why, but he thought it was going to be the coolest thing ever. Anyways, he are a couple quick pics from their birthday. Nothing fancy, but better than nothing!

Hair!!

Hailey's hair is finally starting to grow in. Today, I decided to try and get her a little ponytail. She sat so still while I did this. What a little princess!

Prince...or Princes???

Kyle is always looking for something new to do. Last night, he thought it would be fun to try on Hailey's clothes. Marcelo said no, I said "why the heck not!!" He put the dress (size 12months!) and just started shakin it! He already loves to dance, but never before has he danced in a dress. It was hilarious! Then he spotted the P.J.'s. They also were a size 12months, and we so tight on him. He jumped on the treadmill like it was a runway or something!
I broke his little heart when I made him take them off. He looked so sad as I took them off him, and put them on Hailey. I am anxious to see which room he goes into today when it's time for him to get dressed! I hope I didn't create a cross-dressing monster!

Ta-Da!

Hailey got her pictures taken in her little princess dress. I put it on her and she just started smiling. She knew she looked cute!

Kids Fishing.

We took the kids fishing a week or so ago. Kyle caught his first fish, all by himself! The boys all love to fish. Sadly, we brought home a couple fish, and the kids ate them! I like fish, but I CANNOT see it alive, and then eat it. NASTY......

Miniature Golfing

One of the hardest parts of living away from all of our family, is holidays. The kids knew that their cousins were going to grandmas for an Easter Egg Hunt, and it's hard to tell them that we live too far away to go. We thought we would take the kids miniature golfing instead. It was such a nice day, and it turned out to be tons of fun. The boys had been wanting to go for so long, but I thought they were too young. They did great! The all were in the best moods, and that part was AMAZING. They cheered us all on, and were so nice to each other. I am so glad we decided to take them, we will for sure be doing it again soon! Kyle found a Spider-Man ride inside afterwards, and was in heaven! he was hugging and kissing it! Cute!!!

Haileys First Easter

Hailey seemed to enjoy her first Easter. She mostly got new clothes, and things for her hair, once it decides to grow! She was able to master the skill of opening plastic eggs! I think she got a few tastes of candy before I caught her!

Easter

The Easter Bunny stopped by and left some fun baskets for the kids, and tons of eggs all over the house! The boys ran as fast as they could trying to get the most eggs. I think Kyle and Cameron ate a pound of chocolate before 8:00 am. At one point, I heard Cameron ask Alex if the Easter Bunny was real, and Alex said, yeah Cameron, how do you think all these eggs got here?? Funny boys! The night before, we had had an egg hunt with some friends, and today, I am hiding all their candy from them! Mean, I know!!!

Hoppy Easter!

Every year we go to the Easter Egg Hunt at the zoo. This years was extra fun because Kyle "get's it" this year. And he was totally into it! His age group went first, and Alex and Cameron watched and cheered him on the whole time. Next was the big boys turn. They ran around like crazy guys, and got lots of eggs full of candy. We had a lot of fun! Hailey slept through the whole thing, but she had fun sitting by the water afterwards watching all the kids running around. Oh, and about the boys outfits.... they came straight from soccer, and neither one of them would change their clothes in the car. One day they will be embarrassed by this. Geeks!

Way to Go DAD!

April 10 was a great day. My dad quit smoking on December 31, 2008. April 10 was his 100 days smoke free!!! He smoked for ever 40 years, and I know it must have been awful trying to quit. We are all so proud of him for quitting! All of his grandkids look up to him so much, and I know that when they are old enough to realize what he did, they will look up to him so much more. It takes a very strong person to do it. Dad, we love you and are VERY proud of you!!!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Kyle turned 2 years old on April 2. They say it the terrible two's, right? So my question, what was with all the trouble when he was one? Kyle is a wild man, but his personality make him so cute. He can pull the funniest faces at you. He doesn't say a lot, but he can still knows just what to do to get everything he wants. He is quite easy going, yet very stubborn at the same time. He loves to show off. He thinks he is big. He keeps up with his brothers very well. I always tell them one day Kyle is going to waste you guys, they don't beleive me know, but just wait! Kyle is such a good big brother to Hailey. Happy Birthday Ky Ky!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Alex turned 6 years old on March 31. He was so excited for his birthday! I heard about it everyday for literally months. Both Alex and Cameron think their birthdays are like a major national holiday, so we do our best to make it great for them. He woke up to his favorite breakfast, potatoes, sausage, orange juice and "coffee", which basically is milk, chocolate and coffee creamer. He was extra anxious to go to school, because everyone knew it was his birthday. His original plan for the day was to go straight from the bus stop to Chuck E Cheese, then Baskin Robbins. For dinner he wanted Golden Corral, his favorite, and then stop by Cold Stone for more ice cream! Luckily for us all, just before school, he said he wanted to go swimming instead??? I asked why, and he said that when he was there last time, he noticed that you had to be 6 years old to get in the hot tub, and so now that he was six, he just wanted to get in the hot tub! What a funny kid! If I had half the memory that he has, I would be happy. He remembers EVERYTHING! Which, of course, is good and bad!

It really seems like the past 6 years have flown by. They have been GREAT! Alex is such a smart, funny, happy little man.

So I do have pictures from his wild birthday party, but....I downloaded them, and now I can't find them!! HaHa! Yes, I'm a loser! I'm sure I could ask Alex to find them for me when he gets home from Kindergarten!! He can navigate his way through the computer way better than me! If I need to know anything, he will say, just google it mommy. I will find him on the computer, sounding out words and typing them into google so he can get to the right websites. I'm telling you, the kid is smart, and I take full credit for it!!!!! So when the pictures show up, I will post them! Happy Birthday Slim!

I'm fully aware of it.....

I was not born to be a blogger. Either that, or there just aren't enough hours in the day. Perhaps the fact that I do have 4 kids under the age of 6 is part of it. It seems like so much has happened in the past few months. Hailey celebrated her very first Valentines Day. I did tell her she will enjoy the holiday a whole lot more when she has a boyfriend buying her gifts, and not her parents! And how boring is Valentines Day if you are not old enough to eat chocolate?? But, she did get some super cute princess sippy cups!! All Alex and Cameron cared about was getting presents. I am trying to teach them from a young age that Valentines Day is a girl holiday, a day to love the women in their lives (me), and not to expect gifts. But I must say, I did get the little men a few thing. It doesn't take much to make them happy!
My parents were here for Valentines Day. Hailey had a fun time playing with grandma!
Alex had a loose tooth for well over a month. It was so loose, it was NASTY! You could turn it, pull it, push it back, and that sucker would just stay in there! I took this picture, and literally like 2 minutes later, he was in the kitchen playing with his Pixos at the table, and you here him calmly yell, "Guys, my tooth fell out." That was it... no excitement in his voice, no running around the house screaming, nothing. I, of course, came running in to see, and he was still just playing at the table?? I guess it's not so cool to loose tooth number 2.
Kyle, Kyle, Kyle. What can you say about Kyle. Lets see. He thinks he is a big boy. He's still 1. He has the attitude of a 15 year old. Scary. He has almost no fear. Even scarier. He has to do everything by himself. Yes, everything. I talking, if a toys not working, he will go find a screwdriver and try to open it. If he wants to eat, he has to make it. When it's time to get dressed, don't even think about helping him, unless you want him to scream at you. And yes, there have been times he has been in public with a piece of clothing on backwards, but it's just not worth the fight! But, he by far is one of the funniest kids I have ever met. He stays up at night when the other kids are sleeping, and the kid shows off like you wouldn't believe. He will hide, and when you find him, he will growl at you like he is some sort of wild animal! He loves his baby sister more than anything. He has always been so sweet to her. I hope they will grow up staying so close. With all that said, I took this picture at 7:20 A.M. today. Kyle had to have gel and hairspray in his hair because Alex and Cameron did. The big boys were leaving for school, so of course, Ky wanted to go too. Next thing you know, he is by the garage door, wearing Cameron's shoes, and all he wanted to do was get on the bus. Poor guy!

Yes, this picture is out of order, but I have no clue how to move it, sorry!
Here is the first look at Alex with another hole in his mouth!
Ok, so I got the deal of a lifetime about a month ago for Hailey and Kyle. We are seriously set for live on diapers. In one week, I bought 207 packages of Pampers. Crazy is what you are thinking, right? Now this is the crazy part... brace yourselves for this. One morning during this particular week, I went to Albertsons to pick up 158 of the packages of Pampers that I had special ordered. I was in the store for a total of 45 minutes paying for my goods. I left the store with all the diapers, and the grand total, including tax was... $1.12 yes that's right, One Dollar and Twelve Cents!!
So go ahead and add me to the list of people causing the country to go into a recession!

Sleeping Beauty!

Why can't I look this cute when I sleep?

So Big

In the past few days, it seems like Hailey has been getting a lot bigger. She has been sitting up really well. She looked so cute and proud to be sitting like a big girl tonight.
