Miniature Golfing

One of the hardest parts of living away from all of our family, is holidays. The kids knew that their cousins were going to grandmas for an Easter Egg Hunt, and it's hard to tell them that we live too far away to go. We thought we would take the kids miniature golfing instead. It was such a nice day, and it turned out to be tons of fun. The boys had been wanting to go for so long, but I thought they were too young. They did great! The all were in the best moods, and that part was AMAZING. They cheered us all on, and were so nice to each other. I am so glad we decided to take them, we will for sure be doing it again soon! Kyle found a Spider-Man ride inside afterwards, and was in heaven! he was hugging and kissing it! Cute!!!

Haileys First Easter

Hailey seemed to enjoy her first Easter. She mostly got new clothes, and things for her hair, once it decides to grow! She was able to master the skill of opening plastic eggs! I think she got a few tastes of candy before I caught her!

Easter

The Easter Bunny stopped by and left some fun baskets for the kids, and tons of eggs all over the house! The boys ran as fast as they could trying to get the most eggs. I think Kyle and Cameron ate a pound of chocolate before 8:00 am. At one point, I heard Cameron ask Alex if the Easter Bunny was real, and Alex said, yeah Cameron, how do you think all these eggs got here?? Funny boys! The night before, we had had an egg hunt with some friends, and today, I am hiding all their candy from them! Mean, I know!!!

Hoppy Easter!

Every year we go to the Easter Egg Hunt at the zoo. This years was extra fun because Kyle "get's it" this year. And he was totally into it! His age group went first, and Alex and Cameron watched and cheered him on the whole time. Next was the big boys turn. They ran around like crazy guys, and got lots of eggs full of candy. We had a lot of fun! Hailey slept through the whole thing, but she had fun sitting by the water afterwards watching all the kids running around. Oh, and about the boys outfits.... they came straight from soccer, and neither one of them would change their clothes in the car. One day they will be embarrassed by this. Geeks!

Way to Go DAD!

April 10 was a great day. My dad quit smoking on December 31, 2008. April 10 was his 100 days smoke free!!! He smoked for ever 40 years, and I know it must have been awful trying to quit. We are all so proud of him for quitting! All of his grandkids look up to him so much, and I know that when they are old enough to realize what he did, they will look up to him so much more. It takes a very strong person to do it. Dad, we love you and are VERY proud of you!!!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Kyle turned 2 years old on April 2. They say it the terrible two's, right? So my question, what was with all the trouble when he was one? Kyle is a wild man, but his personality make him so cute. He can pull the funniest faces at you. He doesn't say a lot, but he can still knows just what to do to get everything he wants. He is quite easy going, yet very stubborn at the same time. He loves to show off. He thinks he is big. He keeps up with his brothers very well. I always tell them one day Kyle is going to waste you guys, they don't beleive me know, but just wait! Kyle is such a good big brother to Hailey. Happy Birthday Ky Ky!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Alex turned 6 years old on March 31. He was so excited for his birthday! I heard about it everyday for literally months. Both Alex and Cameron think their birthdays are like a major national holiday, so we do our best to make it great for them. He woke up to his favorite breakfast, potatoes, sausage, orange juice and "coffee", which basically is milk, chocolate and coffee creamer. He was extra anxious to go to school, because everyone knew it was his birthday. His original plan for the day was to go straight from the bus stop to Chuck E Cheese, then Baskin Robbins. For dinner he wanted Golden Corral, his favorite, and then stop by Cold Stone for more ice cream! Luckily for us all, just before school, he said he wanted to go swimming instead??? I asked why, and he said that when he was there last time, he noticed that you had to be 6 years old to get in the hot tub, and so now that he was six, he just wanted to get in the hot tub! What a funny kid! If I had half the memory that he has, I would be happy. He remembers EVERYTHING! Which, of course, is good and bad!

It really seems like the past 6 years have flown by. They have been GREAT! Alex is such a smart, funny, happy little man.

So I do have pictures from his wild birthday party, but....I downloaded them, and now I can't find them!! HaHa! Yes, I'm a loser! I'm sure I could ask Alex to find them for me when he gets home from Kindergarten!! He can navigate his way through the computer way better than me! If I need to know anything, he will say, just google it mommy. I will find him on the computer, sounding out words and typing them into google so he can get to the right websites. I'm telling you, the kid is smart, and I take full credit for it!!!!! So when the pictures show up, I will post them! Happy Birthday Slim!
